DUBAI THROUGH MY SOUL

I still remember my very first night in Dubai I walked around Bur Dubai.Didn’t know where I was going, just needed some air.Just wanted to feel the place.

I came to Dubai not knowing much, just Burj Khalifa and the idea of starting something new.I was here to learn coffee at RAW Coffee Company, and slowly, the city started to shape me in ways I didn’t expect.

When someone asks how I find it here, it’s hard to say I love it. But this part of Dubai — Old Dubai — really got me.I found comfort not in the shiny side of the city, but in the parts that felt tired, real, and alive, like me.

These photographs are from walks I’ve taken since 2021.Through the backstreets of Deira, Karama, Satwa, Al Fahidi —places that never make the postcards, but found their way into my memory anyway.

This is Dubai, through my soul…
